If I Can Do It, So Can You!
Even with a disability – Disney World is the Most Magical Place on Earth!

!
I’m a real Disney Fan Extraordinaire. I have been visiting Walt Disney World since its opening year – 1971/72 – And have been returning every 2 to 3 years since.
In the last 5 years, however, the trip to the Magic has become progressively more difficult for me. I have developed mobility and vision issues that complicate traveling. So in 2018 I thought my trips to Walt Disney World had come to an end.

But I’m a fighter, not a quitter. I longed for time with Mickey and his friends and was determined to make it happen, if at all possible.

So I started planning. I listed the issues and major obstacles, did a lot of research and came up with a workable plan for me to make a trip to Walt Disney World , despite my limitations.
I made it. In 2018 I returned to Walt Disney World and went on my first Disney Cruise. I’ve made two trips to the Magic since then. It would have been more if it hadn’t been for COVID-19.

I credit my sucess in great part to all my fellow disabiled travelers out there I follow on the internet. So I thought. Perhaps others who are wondering if they can travel too might benefit form my experiences, missteps, and mistakes.
This Blog is for you! For those with disabilities of all kins who want to travel but don’t know how to go about it. Who may be afraid to try.
I’m no expert. But I learned that I could travel with my limitations. Maybe what I learned might help you.
